Irma Fox

Fox, Irma L. Age 88 of Wilmington, formerly Morris, passed away October 12, 2013 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Irma was a daughter of the late George and Clara Eich-Schneider. She was raised and educated in Joliet, and on June 3, 1945, Irma married Harlow E. Fox in Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, Joliet. She retired from Personal Products after 20 years of service. Survivors include her children, Gloria (Michael) Brown of Punta Gorda, Florida and Curtis (Dawn) Fox of Wilmington; grandchildren, Chad (Stacy) Fox of Westmont and Kevin Fox of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Teagan, Lincoln and Parker Fox; sister, Doris (the late John) Smego of Joliet; brothers, John Schneider of Coal City and James (Racquel) Schneider of Joliet and numerous nieces and nephews. Irma was preceded by her parents; brothers, Edward (Mildred) Berens, Francis (Marge) Berens and Lavern (Mardel) Schneider; her sister, Alice (Maurice) Ardaugh; great-granddaughter, Riley Fox and her dear husband, Harlow. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 16th from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, 907 Luther Drive, Wilmington. Pastor Chris Beamsley will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Irma's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice or to the Wilmington School District Foundation for Excellence.
