Jacalyn Sarich Obituary
Age 56 of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was born in Oak Lawn, IL., the daughter of the late Walter and Irene (Golema) Magierski, and residing in the Joliet area the past 25 years. She was formerly employed by Dominick's and most recently Mariano's. Jackie enjoyed shopping, decorating, and most of all her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jill (Patrick) Melton of New Lenox, Jerry Sarich of Joliet and Nicholas Sarich of Plainfield; 3 grandchildren, Mason and Maxwell Melton, Mila Sarich; sisters, Diane (late Pat) Fulgaro of Darien and Linda (Mark) Krupecki of Mokena; her boyfriend, David Hofmann of Crest Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sandy Presta.
Visitation for Jackie Sarich will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. Joliet, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services and interment will be held privately by the family. Baby sister we had our ups and downs! But thru that we still stayed connected. Was always proud of you from the bottom of my heart! You were a beautiful catch . You gave it your all. I´m deeply sorry to hear of the passing of Jackie.
She grew up accross the street from me.
I remember when her mom, Irene, was pregnant with Jackie and we all were waiting to see if she was going to have a boy after having 3 girls.
Jackie came, she was always so sweet and adorable.
