Died: October 24, 2025
James Julius "Jocko" Jones III, of Chicago, IL, peacefully transitioned on October 24, 2025. Known for his strength, humor, and unwavering love for family, James' presence brightened every room. He was an exceptional barber whose skill and mentorship touched many lives, and a devoted member of Narcotics Anonymous who inspired others through faith and service.
He is survived by his beloved children, Jamie Greene, Patrece (Billy) Myers, and Simone Jones, along with a host of grandchildren, siblings, god-siblings, nieces, and nephews and cousins.
"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." – 2 Corinthians 5:8
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home and Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 AM at One Vision Worship Center 2701 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois. Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Private interment.
