James M. Pasteris "Jim"
Age 80, passed away suddenly, Saturday November 4, 2023 at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center.
Survived by his loving wife Carole A. (Stahl) Pasteris; one son Richard M. (Cynthia C.) Pasteris; two grandsons Matthew R. (Melissa Jones) Pasteris and Nicholas P. (Andra Tsika) Pasteris; one sister Mary Ann Pasteris; and cat Benjimin.
Preceded in death by his parents Estorino A. and Anna M. (Ghigo) Pasteris.
Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. Jim graduated from Joliet Township High School and Joliet Junior College. He retired from Com Ed after 25 years of service. An avid Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Jim enjoyed reading world history and Tom Clancy books. He loved spending time with his grandsons.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday November 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday morning 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
