Jeffrey Maertin Obituary
Jeffrey A. Maertin, age 58, of New Lenox, passed away on Saturday, May 28th, 2016, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
Jeff is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary Maertin (Murray); daughter, Lisa Maertin; nephew, Scott (Jennifer) Maertin; siblings, George (Veronica) Maertin, Diane (Bill) Mongrief and Karen Glester.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, George & Agnes Maertin (Kuliak).
Jeff was the owner of Maertin Heating & Cooling in Mokena. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion in New Lenox and an avid hunter and downhill snow skier. Jeff was an organ donor through the Gift Of Hope organ and tissue network.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A luncheon to celebrate Jeff's life will be held on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the American Legion Post 1977, 14414 Ford Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation would be appreciated.

I started out a customer to his business and because of Jeff and Mary and staff, I quickly became a friend. I am crushed by the news of his passing. When it came to heating and cooling, MAERTIN was the standard by which all others should be judged.
