John F. Blaesing
Age 77, passed away suddenly Saturday November 16, 2024 at his home.
Survived by two daughters Christine Ann (John) Hardy and Melissa Ann (David) Schroeder; grandchildren Alexandra (Stephen), Kara (Matt), Nicholas (Morgan), Grace and Benjamin; six great grandchildren; brothers Donald (Cynthia) Blaesing and Gerald (Patricia) Blaesing. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Irene (Walsh) Blaesing; one brother Richard Blaesing.
Born in Joliet, living in Homer Glen, IL. John graduated from St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School, Joliet Central High School, Governor's State and DePaul University with high honors at DePaul. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. He had a successful career in the IT field.
John was an avid golfer and a horse racing strategist.
Private funeral services will be held and interment with Military Honors at St. Joseph Cemetery in Manhattan, IL. Please omit flowers due to family allergies.
