John Galligan

Born: September 6, 1956

Died: May 14, 2018

John Galligan was the kindest of souls who did not have a chance at life because of his mental illness. We are so heartbroken. Rest in peace, John! Age 61, of Chicago, long-time resident and native of Joliet, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.

No public services are planned.

Born in Joliet on September 6, 1956 to the late Patrick Joseph Galligan (died 1987) and Jeanine (nee Donick, died 2012).

Survived by his brother, Patrick Galligan; sisters, Colleen Galligan, Maureen Galligan, and Lynn Galligan.

Preceded in death by his sister, Rita Galligan.

Sad to read of John's passing. We played together as kids, mostly snow sledding at the end of Prior St. A kind soul as I recall, may the fond memories keep him with you always.
