Juana Lopez Obituary
Juana B. Lopez "Juanis", age 62, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Juanis is survived by her beloved husband, Juan M. Lopez; children, Ricky (Krista) Lopez and Monica Lopez; grandchildren, Christian and Julian Lopez and Dominick Lopez; siblings, Miguel (Ma. Elena) Becerra, Irma (Jacinto) Becerra, Lucy (Armando) Becerra, Mary Becerra, Lety Becerra, Bacilio (Conchis) Becerra and Paty Becerra; sister-in-law, Rosa Armenta; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father, Basilio Becerra; and mother, Maria De Jesus Lopez; siblings, Tere (Rodrigo) Becerra and Bernabe Becerra.
Juanis was born in San Francisco del Rincon G.T.O. She migrated to the United States in 1973 and married her husband Juan that same year. Juanis was an extremely devoted wife and mother. She truly enjoyed being a grandmother. Juanis loved to entertain her family and cook for everyone. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Juana's life will begin on Thursday, October 19, 2017 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to the Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park at Hills of Rest in Joliet. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road Joliet, IL 60435).
