June E. Bronk (nee Flagg), age 84 a lifelong resident of Wheatland Township, joined her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was born June 4, 1937, in Lockport, IL.
Beloved wife of her late sweetheart, Allyn K. Bronk, whom she married on January 3, 1954, and who preceded her in death on March 18, 2012. June was loved and will be greatly missed by her four children, Deborah (Kevin) Larson, Dale Bronk, Dawn (Thomas) Fassiotto, and the late Danny (Penny) Bronk. The proud grandmother of Jacqlyn (Steven) Hipp, Emily (Anthony) Egan, Erik (Katie) Larson, Aubrey (Jesus) Martinez, Bradley (Nathaly) Fassiotto, Christopher Fassiotto, Matt Bronk and Michelle Bronk and great-grandmother of nine, devoted daughter of the late Gerald L. and Lela (nee Warthen) Flagg, dear sister of Mary Lou (Sig) Hjemvick, fond cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many.
June farmed in Wheatland Township for the past 65 years. She enjoyed the farm life, always caring for her sheep and chickens and the other farm animals. June enjoyed wintering in Fort Myers, FL, and spending summers at her cabin in Conover, WI, sitting by the campfire till all hours of the night. She attended Calvary Church in Naperville and Assembly of God Church in Fort Myers.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, 11:00 AM at Plainfield Township Cemetery in Plainfield. After the cemetery services, all are invited for a time food and fellowship at Junes home.
