Lardi Frances Obituary

Lardi, Mary Frances "Mary Fran" (nee Carnaghi) Age 84. Mary Frances died after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mary Frances was born and lived in Joliet her entire life. She was an amazing woman who lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was educated at St. Raymond's grade school and St. Francis Academy. She was married to her husband, Rudy, who was also a lifelong native of Joliet. She attended radiology school at Silver Cross Hospital in .Ioliet and worked for 46 years as a radiology technician in Joliet. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Patrick's Parish in Joliet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy and her parents, Vincent and Susan Carnaghi and her brother, Raymond Carnaghi. Funeral services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. till time of services. Entombment, Woodlawn Mausoleum, Joliet. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Oncology-Hematology Associates or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. She is now at rest in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Arrangements by: Tapella Funeral Services @Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. For information: 815-726-4054
