Leona Dudek Obituary
Leona "Lee" Dudek passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 6, 2018. Age 97 years.
Survived by her daughters, Christine (Robert) Voss, Michelle (Bruce) Hoster, Monica (Brian) Bentrude; daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Dudek; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Sheri) Voss, Jared (Allyson) Voss, Joel (Jessica) Voss, Nikole (Kevin) Callahan, Terra (Mark) Phair, Marc (Jessica) Dudek, Matthew (Lora) Dudek, Jessica Bentrude, Jacob (Anna) and Jaron Bentrude. Great-grandchildren, Drew, Abi, Aiden, Lyla and Theo Voss; Nolan, Nina and Molly Callahan; Mitchell and Vance Phair; Cassidy and Naomi Dudek. Brothers, Emil Mazankowski and Don (Lorraine) Mazanowski.
Preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell J. Dudek; son, Gerald M. Dudek; her brother, Ray Mazankowski; and sister, Albina Pratt.
Leona attended Grade School in Viking, Alberta Canada. Member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Lemont. She was a very spiritual person, believing in the power of prayer, especially the rosary. She loved to knit, play cards, crosswords and really enjoyed political T.V. Her greatest love was her family, losing her husband early, she took on the role of both parents. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ss. Cyril and Methodius 608 Sobieski St. Lemont, IL Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Memorial visitation at church from 9:00 A.M until time of Mass. Inurnment Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Morningstar Mission Joliet would be appreciated.

God bless you all...we are on vacation and will not be able to attend her memorial...my prayers are with you all...I know her beautiful soul is up in heaven with God.
