LOIS J. KELLY, 73
Late of Lockport, IL. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Lois was born in Kankakee, IL. The daughter of William Donald Stith and Pearl Stith (nee Hubert). Lois worked as a school librarian at St. Pat's Joliet and as a substitute teacher at Lockport High School and Kelvin Grove School Districts.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Donna (late Robert) Shear; brother Gary Stith.
Survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Terry Kelly; loving daughters, Katie (Mike) Kinney and Kim Kelly; dearest grandchildren, Mikey, Lauren and Kara Kinney; sister-in-law, Mary Stith; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Illinois Horse Rescue of Will County, TLC Animal Shelter in Homer Glen or your favorite animal charity of your choice.
Visitation Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport. Chapel Prayers on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 9:15am at the funeral home with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Lockport. Interment at Mound Grove Cemetery in Kankakee, IL around 12:15pm. (there will be NO formal procession to the cemetery in Kankakee)
