Michael Baloy Obituary
Michael D. "Mickey" Baloy, age 68 passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Joliet, IL.
Michael is survived by his brother, Frank Baloy; sisters, Olga Bowsher, Helen Krumlinde, Florence Ryan, Evelyn O'Brien, Barbara (Clay) Clement; brother-in-law, Art (Shelbia) Cook; sister-in-law, Colleen Baloy; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen (nee Semplinski) Baloy; brother, Lawrence Baloy; sisters, Sophie Cook and Catherine Siron; brothers-in-law, Francis Bowsher, Robert Krumlinde, Jack Ryan, Paul Siron and Robert O'Brien.
A graduate of Joliet Central High School, Michael previously attended Joliet Junior College and Lewis University. He worked as a Sales Professional at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet Cadillac for the past 31 years. An avid Chicago sports fan, Michael also coached Joliet Park District women's softball teams for many years.
Donations in memory of Michael Baloy may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Services for Michael Baloy will begin on Thursday, February 8, 2018 with a prayer service in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (1000 Barber Lane, Joliet, IL) for a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Panikhida service at 6:30 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL).
