Muriel A. Jefferson passed away May 26, 2023, at the age of 74, in Joliet, Illinois. Muriel was born November 19, 1948, in Joliet, to the late James (Jimmy) and Hortense Jefferson. she is survived by brothers, James (Edris) Jefferson of Chicago, IL, and Maurice (Winter) Jefferson of Joliet, IL; nephew, Hunter; aunts, Velma and Lois Walton of CA and Shirley Walton of CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Hortense, her maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 9am at Second Baptist Church, 156 S. Joliet St, Joliet, IL Funeral services to follow.
