On June 23, 1978 she married Russell Pritchett in Altona, Wisconsin and relocated to Downers Grove, Illinois. At that time she assumed the role as a full time MOM raising my then 7 year old daughter Sammy and supporting me with all the traveling my job required never missing a beat.

Muriel was a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan that made those rival games an interesting household event for all these years. She enjoyed the lake cabin in Minnesota boating, fishing, afternoon happy hour on the deck visiting friends & family. She kept an eye on all the birds in the area especially the Eagles. Keeping up her Norwegian heritage making Lefse and passing to her grandchildren this art. She was an avid reader and spent many rainy cooler days at the lake snuggled with a book. Muriel was talented at crocheting afghans and her oil paintings adorn many a wall. Thru all this she always managed to enjoy a glass of red wine or those famous brandy old fashioned. Muriel enjoyed traveling and had made several trips to Europe while her son was stationed in Germany visiting many countries and experiencing their customs.
Muriel will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts
A special thanks to Divine Hospice and Palliative Care from Yorkville, Illinois and to all my friends & relatives that assisted me in keeping Muriel comfortable and allowing me the time to spend those last days with her.
