Loving mother of John O. (Debbie) Bryson III, Ruth (Jim) Burkett, and Danita (Jeff) Stepanek; dear brother of Chuck Webster; cherished grandmother of Sgt. Jeffrey (Jon) Stepanek, Timothy (Isavel) Stepanek, Elizabeth (Dane) Stepian, Matthew Stepanek, Eric Burkett, Brian (fiancée, Sammie) Burkett, Melissa Bryson, and John O. Bryson IV; great-grandmother of eleven; sister-in-law of Don (Louise) Bolte, Doris Huddleston, and Sara (Gary) Pearce; special friend of Beverly (Joe) Rivera and Carol (Steve) Viduna.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John O. Bryson, Jr; her parents, John and Ruth Hammerly; also a sisters Lynne Stout.
Visitation Wednesday 3 - 9 p.m. at the Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr. in Romeoville, with a service that evening at 7:00 p.m. Interment of cremains will be Friday, June 20, 2008 at Abraham Lincoln Nat'l Cemetery in EIwood at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 preferred.

Naomi was a fellow Schurzite (high school in Chicago) and will be missed greatly. We had hopes that she would be able to attend our 50th reunion in 2005, but found out about her health situation at that time and understood why she was unable to attend.
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother and grandmother.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Naomi was our friend from the Golden Agers, and she and I would commiserate on the phone about chemo, etc. She was a flovely lady, loved by all of us, and will be sorely missed.
