Patricia Hamilton Millsap, born May 10, 1957, peacefully departed this life October 6, 2025
Patricia was born in Joliet, Illinois to the union of John and Vermel Hamilton on May 10, 1957.
She graduated from Joliet East High School in 1974. She met and married Wince S. Millsap on May 7, 1977.
Patricia was employed with the Sunnyhill Nursing Home. She then went on to have a 36-year career with the United States Postal Service, from where she retired in April 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Joliet.
She leaves cherish memories to her husband, Wince Millsap; daughters, Kelly (Philip) Whithead, Kimberly Hamilton, bonus children, Christopher (Andrea) Millsap, Rachel (Maurice) Robinson; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; siblings, Ken (Angela) Travis, John (Kathleen) Hamilton, Calvin, Vera Hamilton, Tiffany (Kevin) Morgan, Johnetta (Decosta) Hastings, VeElla Hamilton, Antwon (Kimberly) Hamilton, David Washington, and stepmother, Gloria Hamilton; three beloved best friends, Marilyn (Thomas) Stallings, Theresa Page, and Jo (Robert) Cooper; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, coworkers, friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Minor-Morris Funeral Home, 112 Richard St., Joliet, IL, and Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Saint James UBOCC, 415 Parks Ave., Joliet, IL. Homegoing service at 11:30 AM. Interment following at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL
