Robert B. "Bob" Elsen

Elsen, Robert B. "Bob" 65, of Seabrook, TX, died on May 5, 2012 at Christus St. John Hospital in Seabrook, TX after a sudden illness. He was born to Bernard J. and Verdell (Harper) Elsen on March 24, 1947 in Lubbox, TX. He served in the US Army from 1966-1968. He worked for Mobil Oil Refinery in Joliet, IL from 1972-2009. He is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Michael. He married his surviving wife, Mary Elsen, in 2009, retired and achieved his life long dream to return to Texas, living by the water, boating, fishing and enjoying life. He is also survived by his 3 children, Chris; and his wife, Lisa Elsen of Elwood, IL, Lisa; and her husband, Robert Jordan of Bourbonnais, IL; and Andrew; and his wife, Mili Elsen of Providence, RI; his 8 grandchildren, Christopher Elsen Jr., Hannah, Matthew, Heidi and Michael Elsen, and Jessica, Jacob and Rachel Jordan; his sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Arnie Hibler of Whitney, TX; and several nieces and nephews; also surviving are his beloved "girls", his dogs, Tootsie, Pearl and Ruby. Per his request, no memorial services were held but his generosity and love will continue through his beloved family.
