ROSE AND FAMILY,
KNOWING BOB FOR 30 YEARS PLUS WAS AN ADDED PRIVILEGE IN MY LIFE. MY WIFE HAD THE HONOR OF MEETING HIM WHILE SHE WORKED AT THE BANK AND WE BOTH AGREED THAT HE WAS A GENTLEMAN AND SOFT SPOKEN AND KIND.
OUR PRAYERS TO YOU AND THE FAMILY AND MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Rose and Family,
I purchased the Archer Avenue R&B store from Bob back in 1999.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Bob during the deal, and even though he was selling me his business, we did become good friends.
After the closing, Bob would stop by the store to pick up his mail, and we would talk as if we were lifelong friends. He would talk about riding Harleys with his son Bobby, and describe his retirement in Florida.
Bob was a great businessman, who loved the liquor business, but more importantly he loved his family.
I was honored to call Bob a friend.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Our deepest sympathies.

Gary and Lisa Byers.

Dear Jim, Bill and family members,
My condolences on the passing of your brother Bob. Words cannot express the sadness one feels when a loved one dies. I read a sweet saying that was used in an obituary that I'd like to share with you. It goes like this: "The passing of a loved one breaks your heart, and time heals broken hearts. My wish for you is that time passes quickly for you and your loved ones during this time of sorrow!"
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as well as your brother Bob.

Sincerely,

Phil Haskett
