Ruby Wegrzyn Obituary
Ruby Rita Wegrzyn, 94 of Aurora passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Countryside Care Centre. She was born September 15, 1913 in St. David, IL the daughter of John and Katherine (Brozovich) Putrich.
Survivors include one daughter, Loretta "Lori" (Lawrence) Nickels; one son, William (Patricia) Wegrzyn; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Putrich; her husband, William Wegrzyn; one son, Bernard Wegrzyn; five brothers, Frank, Joseph, John, Ludwig and Victor Putrich; and four sisters, Mrs. Eva Mataya, Mrs. Ann Starcevich, Mrs. Francis Riegel and Mrs. Stella Batinich.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Rita of Cascia Church, 750 W. Old Indian Trail, Aurora, IL. Interment will be at 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Joliet, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Monday, December 10, 2007 at St. Rita of Cascia Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruby's memory may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

Dear Lori and Bill,
We'd like to say how sorry we are to hear of your mom's passing. Luba was a wonderful woman. We remember her so vividly from Holy Cross Church and the Ladies Club. Her laugh was so beautiful and it would make you laugh. It reflected her personality and great sense of humor. She had a long life, and I know you and your family will miss her very much. Our prayers are with you.
