Yesterday, the first day of Spring, marks 10 Years- since you crossed the veil. Not one of those 3650 days has my heart and mind not ached for the time stolen from us. My soul prays that one day you come for me -- I MISS YOU & the better part of me that you are and will always be.

I had little contact with Sande, but I have always been treated well by everyone at Vardal Survey. I can only believe that she was responsible, in part, for the friendly atmosphere that was seen whenever I visited the store.

Sande was a beautiful person with a beautiful smile and had a lot more love and and joy to share. She made the world a better place for all; especially the less fortunate. Over the years, she was so good to me and my kids. Always opened her arms and her heart to us. I admired her strength and confidence. I developed a friendship with her that I will always cherish. l miss her big bear hugs.

Oh my beautiful Sande, we will miss you so much! How many meals, partys, evenings, weekends, bars, visits and wonderful moments we all spent together. I never once heard you say anything negative about another person, you have a heart of gold. I feel as if I have lost a little sister. Having had the opportunity to watch the second generation of Vardals continue the Family business while enjoying the pleasure of their contact, the loss of such a special woman as Sande is felt deeply within the heart. Words will never be able to capture the warm presence of this incredible woman, nor will they describe the emptiness left by her passing. My heart goes out to Paul and Laura, hoping that their sorrow passes quickly, and the void left by Sande's earthly transition is replaced by thoughts of her smiles, sounds of her laughter and the playful comfort of her humor.

I was struck numb when I read about Sande. I looked to read my mom's obituary which was sad enough but then saw Sande right above mom's.
