Arthur Tolentino Obituary

Arthur Samuel Tolentino
April 15, 1942 - February 21, 2024
Arthur Samuel Tolentino, 80 of Norwalk passed away unexpectedly February 21, 2024.
He was born April 15, 1942, to Samuel P and Pearl Tolentino in Westport, Connecticut. After graduating from Staples High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served active duty from 1960-1964. Following his service in the Air Force he dedicated 37 years of his life as a Westport firefighter from 1966-2003. Art found harmony and solace in nature. He was also an avid dog lover and was often seen around town with his faithful companion Bones a black Labrador.
Art is survived by his sister Ermine Alford Deacy (Bill), his brother Paul Tolentino, niece Brenda Wakelee (Mike), nephew Daniel Alford, great-nephew Michael Wakelee Jr. (Jennifer), great-niece Kaitlyn Wakelee (Trey).
A private ceremony was held for the immediate family to celebrate Art's life. Donations may be made to Westport Uniform Firefighters Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 5182, Westport, CT 06881.
