With heavy hearts the family of Eugene Douglas Jones announce his passing.
Doug and his late wife, Betty, were groundbreaking leaders in the community. A civil engineer by trade, he directed some of the largest engineering projects of the past century. A WWII veteran, a civil rights activist, an opera fan, and an avid boating enthusiast, Doug was part of the glue that held the community together. Doug was a devoted husband a loving father, a doting uncle, an adoring grandfather, and a great-grandfather. He truly had a life well lived.
Memorial at 11am Oct 25th at the Wilton Congregational Church, Ridgefield Rd.
