Joan Virgulak Obituary
Joan was a retired Registered Nurse in Norwalk for over 40 years. Joan was predeceased by her husband Louis Virgulak in 1990. Survivors include her daughter, Louise Galgano of Jupiter Florida and son Robert Virgulak and his wife Theresa of Norwalk, a brother Bob Lagassey of Bellevue Washington and two sisters, Lucille Stampton of Grey Maine and Frances Brandon of Fort Lauderdale Florida; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also several nieces and nephews.
As requested by Joan there will not be any calling hours. Interment will be private at Riverside Cemetery on Thursday.
Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk are in care of the arrangements.

Bill and I send our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your dear mother. Joan was such a special person to us. She was not only a dear friend but a prayer partner in many ways. Both Alex and I send you our deepest sympathy and sorrow for your loss. I knew Joan on a professional level and will never forget her many kindnessess to a student nurse then a graduate. She had a good heart and a loving, yet professional way with her patients. I'm glad to have gotten to know her.
