Kevin Connelly Reilly, 64, died at his home in Charlottesville, VA on December 27, 2014. Mr. Reilly was born in New York City to the late Eugene L. A longtime resident of Charlottesville, VA, he leaves behind his steadfast and devoted wife Nancy Slack Reilly and two sons Shane, also of Charlottesville and Kailand of Los Angeles, CA; as well as several beloved pets. He is also survived by a large and loving group of siblings Kathleen of Portland, ME, Megan of Norwalk, CT, Sheila of Jamestown, RI, Carey of Redding, CT, Gene of Washington Crossing, PA and Ellen of New York City; as well as various in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Reilly was retired from KCRCreative, Inc., a market research consultancy he founded, based in Charlottesville. He attended The Canterbury School in New Milford and graduated from Amherst College, Class of ’72, where he was a Chi Psi fraternity brother. Kevin was a funny, loving, witty, intelligent and gentle soul who excelled at telling great stories. He was also athletic, playing baseball and hockey in college and for many years participating in a local men’s softball league. He was a car enthusiast, racing at Lime Rock – one of the highlights of his life was attending the Skip Barber Racing School. He was widely traveled. A memorial service will be planned at a future date.

I had no idea Kevin passed away 10 years ago!. Kevin worked with me on "the evolution of beer" - Molson Special Dry in Toronto, Canada. It was largely Kevins brilliant insight, not to mention his bounding enthusiasm that made this brand the most successful beer launch in Canadian history. My only regret is that we lost touch since I miss dearly our "chats" about advertising & creative in general. Will miss you buddy. Your friend Bob Monk.
