Lisa Rooney Obituary
Lisa Anne Rooney, 63, of Norwalk passed away November 4th, 2023, after a brief illness. Lisa was born on March 17th, 1960. She did clerical work for multiple companies in Norwalk where she lived her entire life. She is predeceased by her parents Terrance Patrick and Donna Buschbaum Rooney of Norwalk.
She is survived by her brother Brian Rooney, sister-in-law Amy, and her beloved niece/goddaughter Emily Rooney.
Lisa had a great love of animals, especially dogs, and cherished being a mom to many dogs in her lifetime. She adored her Brightview family and especially enjoyed the casino events there. She was an avid bingo player at the Norwalk Senior Center.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Thomas the Apostle Church or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
