Lucille Christian Obituary
August 15, 1923 - March 25, 2018Lucille O. Christian, 94, of Wilton, CT and longtime resident of Westport, CT passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted living in Wilton, CT.
Lucy was born in Saranac Lake, NY on August 15, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Hazel (Lascore ) Christian. She had been a resident of Westport since 1965 where she was a member of Assumption Church, AARP of Westport and the Westport Women's Club. Her life career included 15 years with Moran Towing Corporation in New York City, followed by four years with the U.S. Air Force Exchange Service in Wiesbaden, Germany. Upon returning to the States, she worked with the Helicopter Association of America and with Nabisco Brands Corporate Technology Group, from which she retired.
Lucy is survived by one brother: Eugene Christian and his wife Terri of Murrells Inlet, SC four nephews and one niece.
A private service will be held and Lucy will be interred in a family cemetery in Saranac Lake, NY. The Harding Funeral Home in Westport, CT is assisting the family with the arrangements

Lucy was a dear friend, She was a steadfast at our annual christmas cookie baking and introduced me to the Westport Women's Club. I will miss her warmth and humor.

My prayers are with her family during this tough time of grieving. I knew Lucy to be such a vibrant and loving person, always so full of positive energy. Her face would light up when she spoke about her youth and the lake. She will be missed.
