Mario Salomone Obituary
Survivors include 2 sons, Anthony Salomone of New Canaan, and Michael Salomone, his wife Melanie and children Christopher, Maggie and Jack, all of Narragansett, RI, his, brother Julio Salomone of Norwalk, his long time companion Cheryl Aide of Norwalk and several nieces, nephews and god children who were very important to him. Mario was also predeceased by his former wife Jean Poccia Salomone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 22, 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 85 S. Main St., Norwalk, with entombment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan. Mario's family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, on Tuesday from 5-8 PM. His family would also like to warmly thank Dr. Andrea Ruskin and her staff for all of their help and support. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202. Tony and the rest of the family,
