Patricia Spagnuolo Obituary

Patricia J. Spagnuolo
Patricia "Trish" Spagnuolo, 70, passed away on July 13, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1955, in Norwalk, Connecticut, the only daughter of Nicola and Raffaela (Tucciarone) Spagnuolo.
Trish attended both Central Catholic and Brien McMahon High Schools, graduating from Central Catholic in 1973. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Haven and a Master's degree from the University of Bridgeport.
At the age of 16, Trish visited California with her aunt, Norma, and uncle, George. Upon returning home, she declared that she would live there one day. In 1980, after completing her graduate studies, she packed up her Ford Pinto and made the cross-country drive with her mother to fulfill that dream. She remained in California for the rest of her life.
In California, Trish worked for Philips Electronics until the company closed its office, where she was among the final employees. She later returned to school and earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in nursing. After graduating, she began working for the VA hospital. Thanks to her strong background in Information Technology, she was offered a role in Information Technology Management-a position she held until her retirement.
Outside of work, Trish loved traveling, exploring California, cooking, and spending time with friends. She loved the ocean and often spoke of her dream to visit Tahiti. She also cherished conversations with her nieces and nephews, always eager to hear about their lives.
Trish is survived by her three brothers, Cesare Spagnuolo of Mansfield, CT, Raymond Spagnuolo of Shelton, CT, and Ronald (Barbara) Spagnuolo of Norwalk, CT. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Nicholas Spagnuolo, Vincent (Michelle) Spagnuolo, Allison (Aldo) Rodhani, Dylan Spagnuolo, Lucas Spagnuolo, and Isabella Spagnuolo; and by her great-nieces and nephew, Seraphina Spagnuolo, Alita Rodhani, and Albin Rodhani. She was predeceased by her parents; and her niece-in-law, Maggie Spagnuolo.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, from 6 – 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.

My sincere Condolences to the Spagnuolo family. I attended Central Catholic with Patty and her brother Cesare. Too young to leave us. Praying for the family in the days ahead.

Trish was my "sis" and always held a special place in my heart. We had some fun times, even in the midst of her health struggles. We worked in nursing together at VA and she brought so much good to patients and staff. I'm happy I got to be her friend. She is our Angel now. I love you sis!

Long-time friends who met in Los Gatos, CA. when she recruited me to sell Arbonne Skin Care and I prayed for her to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and growing by leaps and bounds as a born again Christian. A true and loyal friend and travel companion to the beach and to Christian Retreats, we shared a lifetime of love, memories, her culinary treats and friendship. Heaven is now your home, Trish and you are free from all pain and sickness and enjoying the wonders of your heavenly home and God our Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and those family and friends who were born again by receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Thanks for your love, loyalty, and legacy. To know you is to love you.
Hugs and love around,
Nanci
