So sad to learn of Steve Miklos' passing. Yes I am late to learn and learned by googling to name to find out what he is doing now.
Steve was my manager at Cognitive Systems, and he was the best. He gave me a great start in career. He was a humble man; I did not know that he was a lawyer! He let us bring out the best in us by not interfering in our creating technical work. I recall with fondness his passion for technology, and how he gave me opportunities in both technology and marketing work with his manager Tolya Gershman to present to big banks in NYC. Steve Miklos loved theater and I recall he and a fellow colleague from another group joining Shakespeare on the Green in New Haven CT.
RIP Steve Miklos. You went a tad too early. Your memories are a blessing to all of us.

Another fond memory: Steve played Van Helsing to my Count Dracula in Gaslight, Greasepaint & Co.'s local theater production of the original B'way play DRACULA. He was great in the role. Here we at rehearsal. I think the year is around 1970.

Fond memories of Stephen: From left to right: Yours truly on flute, Tony Scalisi on bongos, and Steve on guitar. Performing at I think the Central Catholic High School sophomore year talent show - (which we won!). Steve was an amazing musician ~

R.I.P. Steve - My best friend at Central Catholic High; just about the smartest person I've ever known; the guy who introduced me to the music I spent the rest of my life with; who onstage played Van Helsing to my Count Dracula; talented bassist, guitarist, flutist; musical colleague with whom I shared the most memorable performances of my high school days; who kindly drove me to school every day in that crazy old car; who took me to my first Fillmore East concert; philosophical sparring partner; brother and even father figure - Steve never let my weirdness get in the way of his befriending me, and of kindly sharing his immense talents, insights and intelligence.
A young Stephen with his father, Joe, and Uncle Tom at the Naval Academy.

When I told Gabi that Stephen passed away, I reminded her of Stephen, her cousin with the eye patch that told her he was a pirate. Throughout my girls' lives, he always engaged with them in conversation as though their voices had value. Gab's eyes watered at the news - of the beautiful, talented man that always made my children feel valued. He will be missed.

Steve and I were best friends back in the CCHS, Gaslight days, we had so much fun as musicians, actors, but most of all, being friends.
Though I haven't seen Steve in a long while, he has always been close to my heart.
What a great family with Steve, Mr. and Mrs. Miklos, and the children. I'm just wishing that I could play one more tune with Razza.
My Best,
