William Court Obituary
William "Bill" Court, age 74, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, surrounded by his family at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York. Born on October 29, 1947, raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, he is the son of Walter and Ruth Court.
Bill attended New Canaan High School and later went on to pursue a college degree in West Virginia. Upon graduating, Bill returned to Connecticut and settled in and became a longtime resident of Norwalk, Connecticut.
Bill began his career at John Hancock, where he worked for more than 20 years, prior to following in his father's footsteps and began work as a general contractor in Fairfield County until his retirement. Bill, with a love for the water and as an avid boater, was a lifetime member at the South Norwalk Boat Club in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Bill is survived by his two sons, William of Norwalk, Connecticut, and Kevin of Watertown, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his wife, Tanya, and by his parents, Walter and Ruth. Bill cherished, and was cherished by, his family above all else. Bill was the embodiment of a dedicated father, devoted husband, and compassionate friend – he will be sincerely missed by all those who he leaves behind.
Friends, family, and loved ones are welcome to attend a gathering in remembrance of Bill's life on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the South Norwalk Boat Club in Norwalk, Connecticut beginning at 12:00 P.M.

Bill was a great guy, always friendly, definitely a good father.
Also a good baseball parent, he knew how to watch his son and support him, the right way.
