Bob Nagel, age 70, of Grand Island, passed quietly at home after a lengthy illness on July 2, 2025.

Visitation will be at All Faiths Funeral Home on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 2 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date. Online condolences may be left at giallfaiths.com.

Bob was born on August 14, 1954, in McKinney, TX. His family moved to Onawa, IA, where he attended West Monona High School and met and married his high school sweetheart, Karen Schultz. They were married on September 2, 1977.

Bob worked for EA Pedersen as a lineman and moved to Grand Island, in the fall of 1985. Bob was a lineman for the City of Grand Island. Missing the open road, he started driving trucks for Sunrise Express and eventually drove for Dohrn Transfer. He retired and enjoyed his leisure time, making multiple trips to California to visit his daughter and her family, and attending his grandson, Kannon's many water polo events. He enjoyed old trucks, Starbucks coffee, scratch tickets, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Karen Nagel; his son, Vincent Nagel of Tecumseh; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Klement-Nasalroad and Timothy Nasalroad, Jr. of Clovis, California; brother, Dan Nagel of McKinney, Texas; sister, Loretta Hanson of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Alexis Nagel, Kenya Nagel, Kannon Klement, Kayla Nasalroad and RayLynn Nagel; and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Ameriah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and LaVern Nagel; and brother, Tom (Butch) Wilson.
