Carolyn Palmer Obituary



SALINA, Kan., Carolyn Elaine Guy Palmer, 67, Salina, Kan., died Tuesday, June 17, 2008.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Salina. Inurnment will be July 5th in Wood River Cemetery in Wood River.

Mrs. Palmer was born Aug. 31, 1940, at Wood River to Frank and Rose (Huey) Guy.

Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Donald; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roy and Joyce Palmer of Salina and Jim Palmer of Delphos; a daughter, Melanie Palmer of Salina; three sisters, Shirley Ann Lowrance of Eckert, Colo., Joan Bushhousen of Dannebrog and Judy Sutter of Grand Island.

Additional survivors include nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was a caregiver with Presbyterian Manor.

Memorials may be made to the church in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
