Craig Douglas Obituary

Craig H. Douglas, 58, of Council Bluffs, IA, formerly of Grand Island, NE, passed away September 8, 2025 at CHI Mercy Hospital, Council Bluffs, IA.

Craig was born on August 23, 1967, in Kearney, NE to Larry and Sharon (Psota) Douglas. He graduated from Northwest High School, class of 1986.

Craig enjoyed hunting, camping, and boating. He was also a Cornhusker football fan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Larry and Sharon Douglas, Grand Island, NE; son, Craig Jr., Kearney NE; brother Tom (Tina) Douglas; sister Steph (Ty) Goc; nieces, Abi Douglas and Avery Goc; nephew, Zac Douglas; all of Grand Island; Uncles, John (Lyn) Psota, McCook, NE; Daryl Psota, Ravenna, NE; and Aunt, Bev Moore, Grand Island NE.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Lyle and Pauline Douglas and Jack and Reva Psota; and his Uncle Dean Psota.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
