Debra Morris Obituary

Debra Lynn "Debbie" Morris

February 27, 1960 - September 2, 2025

Debra Lynn "Debbie" Morris, age 65, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

To honor Debbie's wishes, there will be a private burial of her ashes. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family.

Debbie was born February 27, 1960, in Grand Island to Donald and Maxine (Beberniss) Morris. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High, class of 1978.

She earned her CNA/CMA certifications and worked at the Nebraska Veterans' Home for more than 30 years.

Debbie loved to travel and had been to Europe, Hawaii and Mexico…for starters. She was an independent thinker, always direct and to the point. Her family will remember her ability to make them laugh.

Those who cherish her memory are her siblings, Lorene (Dennis) Lanham, Wayne Morris, Connie (Craig) Anderson and Renee (Terry) Lilly; 17 nieces and nephews; and her longtime partner, Sam Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Daniel Boroff II; and a great-nephew, Zak Corman.
