Delores Bulin Obituary

Delores Erma Bulin

February 11, 1941 - September 6, 2025

Delores Erma Bulin, 84, of Lincoln, formerly of Grand Island, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Ambassador Health of Lincoln.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 19, at All Faiths Funeral Home, with Father Canela officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends throughout the evening.

Delores was born on February 11, 1941, in Grand Island, Neb., to James and Lena (Kay) Tuma.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Robert Clark of Quirindi, New South Wales, Australia; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Jennifer Bulin of Grand Island, Jason and Stacy Bulin of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Jerod Bulin and Ana Montiel of Round Rock, Texas; and her sister, Florence Gruzdzinski of St. Libory.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Brianna Clark, Krissa Bulin, Jordan Bulin, Kolten Bulin, and Mikayla Bulin; one great-grandchild, Skylar Bulin; four step-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.

Delores received her education through the Grand Island Public Schools. On October 24, 1959, she married Norman Bulin at Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island. Together, they moved to St. Paul, where they farmed alongside Norman's parents. Delores worked in nursing at St. Francis Hospital and St. Paul Hospital, demonstrating her lifelong dedication to caring for others. Later, the couple relocated to Long Beach, California, where Delores continued her nursing career before returning to Grand Island in 1961 to raise their family.

In 1974, Delores became a partner in her husband's business, Paradise Homes, which operated until Norman's passing in 2004. She was a devoted wife and mother, and later in life found joy in her attendance at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grand Island. She loved music, singing, gardening, watching TV, and spending time with family and friends. Even as health challenges arose later in life, Delores's faith, strength, and determination remained steadfast.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, on September 12, 2004; her daughter, Debra Lynn, in February 1982; her brother-in-law, Stan Grudzinkski, in January 2016 and her parents.

The service will be livestreamed on the funeral's home website www.giallfaiths.com. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Delores Erma Bulin Memorial Fund. Condolences may be left at www.giallfaiths.com.
