Doris Macku Obituary
June 2, 1950 - November 16, 2025
Doris J. Macku, 75, of Alda, died Sunday, November 16, 2025, at CHI Health-St. Francis.
Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 21st at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery. The family will greet friends an hour prior to service. Memorials are suggested to the family to be determined later.
Doris was born on June 2, 1950, in Ainsworth, NE the daughter of Edward and Polly Smith. She graduated from Ainsworth High School. On June 2, 1973, she was united in marriage to Richard Macku.
Doris owned and operated the Alda Grill and Grocery. She enjoyed meeting and visiting people. She made others feel important and brought happiness into their lives.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard; sons, Jason and Christopher Macku; five grandchildren; her mother, Polly; and brothers, Denny, Lonnie and David Smith.
She was preceded by her father; and brothers, Clayton and Dale Smith.
