Our Savior Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through his servant Eunice.

Eunice Evans was given life by her creator and was born on June 25, 1928, the child of Louis and Emma (Zeller) Kohls. On August 12, 1928, she received the gift of Holy Baptism and became a child of God. On July 28, 1942, she publicly confessed her faith and was confirmed. Eunice received the precious gift of the Lord's life-giving body and blood. On June 30, 1947, she received the gift of a beloved companion in her spouse, Donald Evans. She was blessed with the gift of children, David, Bruce, and Byron Evans. God blessed Eunice's life with many special people as she served God in her vocations at home, church, work and in the community. Finally on November 2, 2025, God blessed Eunice with a holy death and took her home to rest in the arms of Jesus, to await the resurrection of the dead.

Eunice is survived by her children, David, Bruce, and Byron (Kim) Evans. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Walker (Jennifer) Evans and Ashley (Ryan) Walcott; and great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Irelyn Evans, Adisyn, Kirin, and Talbot Walcott.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Evans; parents; sisters, Ruth Barrick and Helen McFadden; brothers, Paul, Elmer, and Lyle Kohls; and daughter-in-law, Jodie Evans.

In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church and Heartland High School.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Daniel Bremer officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the Litchfield Cemetery. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at:
