In Loving Memory of Kelly J. Zook.

March 22, 1960 – November 13, 2024.

It has been one year since the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Kelly Zook, and not a day goes by that she isn't deeply missed. Kelly passed away unexpectedly at her home in Omaha on November 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth that continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Kelly lived a life full of creativity and connection. After graduating from Piper High School in 1978, she began a modeling career before eventually making Nebraska her home. In Grand Island, where she lived for over three decades, Kelly raised her three children and built a life centered on family, friendship, and community.

Kelly's career in radio advertising with KSYZ and GI Family Radio reflected her natural gift for communication and her genuine care for people. She also had an extraordinary talent for event planning and hospitality-always finding joy in bringing others together. Her vibrant personality, infectious smile, and compassionate spirit left an impression on everyone she met.

Kelly is lovingly remembered by her children, Christina (Brandon) Engleman, Courtney (Robert) Pinkelman, and Nathan (Anna) Zook; her cherished grandchildren, Cove, Paxton, Boone, and Madison; her brother, Patrick Shaffer, and his family in Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

As we mark one year without her, we continue to celebrate Kelly's life and the love she so freely shared. Her presence is missed beyond words, but her laughter, kindness, and strength remain a guiding light for all who were blessed to know her.

Forever loved, forever remembered.
