Kennedi was born April 29, 2000, in Central City to Don and Tricia (Dierks) DeMuth. She grew up in Fullerton, where she attended Fullerton Public Schools and graduated with the class of 2018. After high school, she followed her passion and enrolled in Paul Mitchell Hair School in Lincoln. Doing hair and makeup wasn't just a career for Kennedi, it was her joy. From school dances to special occasions, she loved helping others get ready, especially her sister Chloe and their friends. Most recently, Kennedi worked at the Corn Krib in Belgrade, a place she loved. She poured her heart into her work and cherished the people she met there.
Kennedi lived life with a free spirit and an open heart. She loved to travel, share adventures with her friends, and spend time with her family. Above all, she treasured being an aunt and her nieces, Charli, Jolea, and Lennie were the light of her life. She never missed a chance to FaceTime them and loved them with all her heart, and they loved her back the same.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, Don and Tricia (Dierks) of Fullerton; brother, Landon and Ashley Knopik of Fullerton; sister, Chloe DeMuth of Fullerton; nieces, Charli, Jolea, and Lennie Knopik of Fullerton; grandparents, Robert and Kathy Sorensen of Fullerton and Mary Jane DeMuth of Fullerton; step-grandmother, Vicki Dierks of Central City; uncles, Tim (Belinda) Dierks of Fullerton and Gary Fisher of Albion; cousins, Dani (Adam) Root and children of David City and Christopher (Charlien Longoria) Dierks and stepson, Phillip; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, LeRoy Dierks and Eugene DeMuth; great-grandparents, Robert and Mabel Boardman and Bill and Pearl Fitzsimmons; aunt, Kathy Fisher; and uncle, Ron DeMuth.
Kennedi's bright spirit, her gift for making others feel special, and the love she shared will never be forgotten.
