I hate to boast but I had the best Grandma/Mother ever. Grandma Lilas was the best woman I have ever known and I will miss her for so many reasons. I will miss hearing her call our names as we walked up the stairs when we visited her, her laugh when we teased her, her chocolate cake, her caring words always uplifting, and her good byes when it was time to leave. I never heard her say a bad word about anyone and she always looked at the bright side even during her last weeks. I was lucky to have some great role models so there are no excuses as I continue to grow and become a better husband, father and person.

So many don't get to choose their family I was one of the lucky few that was chosen by family. The Rowse family took me in as their own and I am so thankful that it is so. Even after Gary passed Grandma Rowse still treated me as one of the family. I am proud to be a part the Rowse family! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Thank you so much both of you for your kind and touching words. They mean so much to all of us who loved her. We are going to miss her so much but we have such peace with knowing she's in heaven with Grandpa, Dad, Bonnie, and the others who passed before her and she's having a great time!

We were sorry to learn of Lilas' death in the paper today. She truly was a lovely person and an inspiration to us. Ruth will miss seeing her at Korlyn's from time to time. God be with you and give you His comfort.
