Loretta J. Snell, 61, of Grand Island, passed away on August 17, 2025, at her home.
Loretta was born on April 15, 1964, to Reva Parker Huston and her stepfather, Charles Huston. She was raised and received her education in various places around Nebraska.
Loretta met the love of her life, Larry Stubbs, in 1994. To this union, one child was born. Loretta worked for many years in data processing before retiring for health reasons. Loretta had a very special bond with her daughter, and enjoyed spending time with her.
In her spare time, Loretta could be found crafting. She enjoyed everything from painting, to decorating, to making things for all of her loved ones. She loved to be outside cooking on the grill and having family cook outs. She loved her animals and her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jessica Stubbs (Levi Beeder); sister, LaDonna (Allan) Buckley; brothers, Howard Snell, Kevin Snell; and nephews, Brice and Kyle Anderson.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Reva and Charles Huston; birth father; a stillborn son, Cody; and the love of her life, Larry Stubbs.

Loretta was my neighbor for many years. She helped me with lots of projects for my kids( tshirt blanket and dream catchers).
Loretta would always help anyone out who needed it.

I have known LORETTA FOR MANY YEARS. She was quite the crafter and had lots of love for JESSICIA. She will be missed as she was a great mother and friend. RIP LORETTA YOU DESERVE IT

I remember Loretta when we were way younger but I called her Lori ann.she was fun to be around her and Madonna and me and my sister used to be around each other alot.we been taking back and forth remembering those days and laughing about life.sh we will be missed alot,loved her she was a great cousin
