Melinda Wilson Obituary

LINCOLN - Melinda "Lindy" Wilson, 58, of Lincoln died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.

Lindy was a retired Mental Health Counselor, member Christ Lutheran Church & P.E.O. and loved sunshine and K-9's

She is survived by her husband, Warren; parents, Walt and Prue Luers of Grand Island; sister and brother-in-law, Joanna and John Klinker of Coronado, Calif.; brother & sister-in-law, Jim and Cindy Luers of Lincoln; father-in-law, the Rev. Woody Wilson of Lincoln; four nieces, two nephews, five great-nieces, four great-nephews and two adorable dogs, Maddy and Benji.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Penny and John Thornbrough.

Memorial services will at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner Street, Lincoln, with the Rev. Luke Schnake officiating. Buria l will be in the Calvary Cemetery.

There will be no viewing or visitation. Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to Christ Lutheran Church, Lincoln.

I am so sorry to hear of Lindy's passing. Many many memories from Grace Lutheran so long ago. I am so glad I got to visit with Lindy at our reunion this past summer. My thoughts and prayers to the entire family.
