Nancy Schmerdtmann Obituary
February 28, 2025
Nancy H. Schmerdtmann, 82, of Grand Island passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Gathering of friends and family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at All Faiths Funeral Home.
Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Pastor Bill Pavuk will officiate. Burial will take place at Pender Cemetery at a later date.
All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements, more details will follow.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was secretary for several years at the Hall County Extension Office. Nancy was a friend as well, both as a long time extension club member and also with my 4 children in 4-H. She was so kind and helpful, and her organizational skills made every lesson she gave amazing. She will be missed!

Nancy was my Home Ec teacher when I was in High School in Albion, Nebraska. She was great and I learned a lot from her. She made the class also a fun experience! I graduated in 1973. She will be missed by so many of her students whom she helped guide us with her knowledge that we take with us! RIP Miss Schmerdtmann!

Thoughts and prayers to the family of Nancy! I knew her when she was an Extension agent for HALL county! And I know her sister Aline! She was a great with her knowledge in all the groups that she shared information with!
