Dick

Didn't seem right that you were not available to take one of my birthday calls to you. Missed you at the Hoolie this year - lots of memories from last year - those memories are what get me by.

Dear Jennifer and kids- We are so sorry for the loss of Dick. We didn't spend lots of time with him living so far away but it didn't matter. When ever you heard anyone talk about Dick or had a story to tell you always laugh. Just by looking at his kind eyes and infectious smile you could tell how kind his heart was. We will miss him.

Dear Jennifer and Kids - I'm so sorry for your loss. Dick and I worked together on a joint project between Iatric Systems and ISSolutions.

Dick was an absolute joy to work with - intelligent, hard-working and fun all at the same time. The world would be a much nicer place if more people were like him. As time goes by, I pray you're able to focus less on the loss and more on cherishing joyful memories of good times you shared.

Sending prayers and loving thoughts your way.

Dear Jennifer and Family

Jennifer I am so sorry for your loss. I met Dick at one of our class reunions and for the short time that I knew him he was indeed a kind and thoughtful man. Your family has seen to much sadness these past few years and just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved one's. What a kind gesture to have the memorials go to Gena's Scholarship Fund. Take care and keep Dick's memories in your hearts.

Dear Jennifer and all of the Kieffe family,

We are so sorry for the loss of Dick. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
We have so many memories of sharing family events with you at Frisco through the years, and we always felt privileged to be among all of the Kieffe's. We too remember Dick's great wit and sparkling blue eyes. We remember the wonderful fun times he had in Colorado surrounded by the people he loved the most. Marilynn and I go back almost 35 years now, and I know that Dick has been a part of my life for that long too.
He will be missed by so many. Our thoughts and prayers will continue to join so many others who love the Kieffe's

Dear Kieffe family, growing up and raising children right along side of the Kieffe's family is one of the many cherished memories that my family will hold onto. The time which we had together will live on and that wry smile that Dick displayed will not be forgotten. Our prayers go out to Jean, Liz, Patrick, Jennifer, Chelisa and Eileen. The Kieffe family truly represents all that Dick stood for. He will be missed but his legacy will live on. God Bless!

Kieffe Family,

I knew Dick for many years from when I lived in Hastings in the early 80's and most recently reconnected when we worked together for a brief period of time. He was a great person and it's hard to believe he is gone. His family should know that he always spoke very highly of Jennifer and his kids. You could tell he loved you all very much.

I will keep you all in my Prayers. He will be missed,

Kieffe Family,

I worked with Dick at Bizco and knew him growing up in Hastings. He was a friend to my brother Dick and always thought he was great guy. That was confirmed in the short time that we worked together. Dick was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to be around and I know that his family brought great joy to him. I am so very sorry for your loss and I will miss not being able to relive the stories we shared.

Dick was an awesome uncle to my brother and I. I always knew he loved us very much, through his actions and words, and I know he knew we loved him as well.

I've never met anyone wittier than Dick, who seemed to always have the perfect "punch line". He was always good for a deep discussion or if you wanted to argue politics, he was game for that too.

I had the opportunity to spend some extra time with Dick in January and then again about two weeks ago. During one of our last conversations, two weeks ago, we talked about fatherhood and what we loved about it. I remember the passion in his voice and sparkle in his eye when he told me the precious feeling he felt holding Patrick and Liz on his lap during the toddler years, he said "this is what life is all about". I agreed. Dick loved his family, because family was his life and his passion.

Certain things always and will forever remind me of Dick: Frisco Colorado, hunting, biking, National Geographic, wolf paintings/pictures, Nebraska football, catfish bait(stink bait), fireworks in hastings, Blue, and of course Patrick and Liz.

I can't believe you are gone, Dick.
