Ronald Lukesh Obituary
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.
Family will greet friends an hour before service time.

Jean & Lance, Please know I share in your sorrow. I first met Ron while working for the Grand Island/Hall County CVB. Ron had an amazing talent and generously shared his enthusiasm for all things. He was able to take a vision and make it a reality and for that I will be forever grateful.
He took great pride in you, Jean, and all your accomplishments, your horses and the place you finally called home. His wit, charm and sometimes, stubborn tenacity to do what 'he' thought was right, will forever be a lasting memory for all he touched. His support and enthusiasm for tourism, NE history and his family is his legacy and he will never be forgotten. My heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Although I knew him through work, I also counted him as a friend. I still miss his Christmas cards.

I so admired Ron for his amazing artistic talent. I knew Ron in High school and followed his creative work until I moved to California in 1986. He was an amazing artist, who had such a warm and fun personality. I looked closely at his art, caricatures, logo designs, and illustrations, because I, too, did some graphic design and I tried to figure out how he created them. But my art could never compare to his artistic abilities. Amazing person whose legacy will live on in his many creations remaining for perpetuity around Nebraska and the country. My sympathies for your loss.
