Ronald Joseph Weltruski Sr., son of Joseph Louis and Jane Elaine (Schuchhardt) Weltruski was born on November 13, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, NE at the Euricks Nursing Home. He was baptized on March 5, 1950, and confirmed on April 7, 1963, at Zion Lutheran Church. Ron attended Little Red School House, Primrose High School, and graduated from Spalding Public in 1967. On November 11, 1972, Ron married the love of his life, Josephine "Jo" Choyeski, at St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward, NE. Ron loved visiting with people and was a man with many talents. He enjoyed buying and fixing classic cars, tinkering with things, lending a helping hand, and spending time with his family.
