Shane Roger Samuelson

CHAPMAN - Shane Roger Samuelson, 53, of Chapman, died Monday, June 28, 2021.
A memorial service will at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 9, at Apfel Funeral Home in Wood River, with Bev Hieb officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family or Apfel Funeral Home.
Shane was born March 27, 1968, in Kearney to Dennis and Judith (Partridge) Samuelson. He grew up in Shelton and Kearney and received his education from Shelton and Kearney High School.
He was married to Michelle Broadfoot on July 28, 1990, in Kearney. Born into this union were their two children, Stacia and Austin. The couple later divorced, and Shane lived in Shelton and Chapman where he was self-employed.
He enjoyed baking with his grandkids, fishing, napping, bowling, and tinkering on everything. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his girlfriend, LaRanda Holland; his son, Austin Samuelson; his daughter, Stacia Samuelson; stepdaughters, Riele Lewis, Breanna Johnson and Payton Johnson; nine grandchildren, Abby, Joyce, Aliyah, Kinley, Lily, Maren, Maddie, Max and Mason; a brother, Samuel Samuelson; two sisters, Shawna Fisher and Sandra Samuelson; and his nieces and nephews, Devin Samuelson, Samantha Samuelson, Tristan Walker, Zachary Walker, Ethan Samuelson and Evan Samuelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
