Sharroll "Shari" A. Bishop

December 19, 1941 - August 25, 2025

Sharroll "Shari" A. Bishop age 83, formerly of Taylor, passed away on August 25, 2025, at the Cedars at Broadwell Care Home in Grand Island.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2 p.m., at the Taylor Assembly of God Church. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow is assisting the family. Words of encouragement and remembrance can be left at www.govierbrothers.com

Sharroll Ann Bishop was born on December 19, 1941, at Broken Bow, Neb., to Elmer and Evelyn L. (Moody) McCaslin. She graduated from Sargent High School. She lived for over 50 years in Taylor. Shari was married to Otto Pete Bishop for 43 years. They had four children born to this union: Greg, Gwen, Ron, and Eddie. Sharroll enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed baking, drawing, and canning food.

Shari attended the Taylor Assembly of God Church; her faith was very important to her.

Shari is survived by her four children that will miss her greatly, Greg Bishop and family, Gwen Parsons and family, Ron Bishop and family, and Eddie Bishop and family. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Hinman of Boise, Idaho and Liz Bobbett of Omaha.
