Vicki Davison

1953 - 2022

Vicki J. Davison, 68, of Grand Islanddied Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at CHI Health St. Francis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Private family burial will be prior to the service at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Vicki was born Aug. 23, 1953, in Grand Island, the daughter of Richard and Annabelle (Jankovitz) Thayer. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High, class of 1971.
On March 18, 1972, she was united in marriage to Rick Davison in Grand Island. This union was blessed with children, Tracy, Mindy and Jessica.
She worked for Valley Vending Services and at Skagway North for 25 years. Vicki loved her dogs, yard work and flowers.
After retirement she worked with Rick at H&R Block in St. Paul for the last six years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tracy (Erik) Hanger of Lincoln, Mindy Davison of San Mateo, Calif., and Jessica (Scott) Davison-Moan of Salem, Ore.; two grandchildren, Kire and Ava Hanger of Lincoln; siblings, Connie Welch, Joanna Leetch, Gene Davis, Carl Davis, Nancy Davis, Tina Minor, Rhonda Davis, Terry Thomas and Carrie Burmeister; her husband, Rick; and special dogs, Cooper, Bear and Winston.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patty Thayer.
